Why is the stock not reacting to positive result?

Projected earnings for Q4 is $0.28. Actual earnings is $1.54. The stock price dropped. What does it take to move the stock?

overall market sentiment is negative especially around the ESG sector. Great company here only a matter of time before the market realizes the potential here and sp will start to reflect that.

I picked up some shares before the announcement of the Q4 results, hoping that the actual results would be better than expected. I guessed right but still lose money. Hate to think what would happen if I were wrong.

In my opinion there's a few aspects of this. Aside from the general momentum in renewables slowing down and PIF being generally one of the less favored among the sector for being SA focused, I think the market interpreted the raising of equity as a sign of imminent M&A activity whereas the call made it clear they are still exploring options and any acquisition is probably 3-6 months away

I think that Polaris is being penalized because the market is waiting to see what they'll do with the money.
