Volume up after long quiet period

Obviously today's  low inflation announcement might partly explain some of the enthusiasm, but it has been quite a while since they've had any impactful news, so maybe something is brewing at PIF. 

As indicated in their quarterly conference call, they have a number of irons in the fire, albeit mostly small to medium projects, but they've also been looking at non traditional investments. 

At the very least I hope they will announce something regarding canoa (expansion or at least completion of panel replacement). I think the DR government was to entertain bids on new energy projects in q4.  Also, on Aug 1 the  ceo estimated the possible timing of an acquisition to be 60-90 days.
 

Q4 is only days away...
