Very doubtful Mr. WilllyGreen. Haven't you been following & keeping up to date on developments in the news lately? Chevron put their conventional O&G assets up for sale at the start of this year. So they are gettingCOMPLETELY out of Duvernay & anything else. Except for their oil sands assets..... for the time being. But i fully expect for Chevron to unload those as well to Canadian Unnatural in time.

So a resounding NO my dear friend.......Chevron will not be the one to buyout Paramount. Look for either Arc or someone else that makes sense. But Arc is the front runner imo for any Pou M&A........unless Arc goes after Whitecap instead.......which is also a "good" buyout target for them.
