In all honesty I could see this at 9$ in the next 3 months  as one poster said if COVID begins to get controlled we would blow past 8.50$ Simply put...the float is low the acreage is great and the production is wicked . I took a good position at 4.75$ .... I like this stock as a low cost producer and I o ow they spend little money. i wprk for a service company that does work for them andni ...more

One thing to remember also is the riddell family and a few others own a huge portion of stock and can manipulate it up and fast especially with this low low float 14-15$ by year end 2021 is not out of the realm of reality

Ahh regardless I was wondering why all the producers capital costs just got essentially halved in the last year. Didn't seem it was in any way just some great efficiency they discovered in the drilling process. Cheers guy

Robertlaw  drilling has been the number one factor contributing to the savings obviously but as a whole  services in alberta are working for 35% of where we were last year which was down 80% of where we were in 2013/14.../ so ya it's a big factor  paramount is also in its own unique situation being owners of fox drilling ... they have great iron and they pay a lot less to their ...more

So tell me this ... price targets for this stock are 100% lower than where we are at today? whybis that? why are so many here bullish on another 100% run up? my opinion is the family controlling interest in the stock they own a large part of the small float for one thing  secondly I believe there is a rebalancing starting tomorrow amd if it flows into energy ... will be at seven gems price ...more

Regardless - the targets are bull carp. Full stop. These analysts are smart but have no skin in the game and worry about the pennies. If you are focused on the pennies, you don't have time look past the spread sheet for the $100 bill lying on the floor.  Pou has the best acreage.  Costs are only now under control. The family owns 47%.  They are not in this business for a ...more

Regardless, it can't possibly be paramount only that has managed to lower it's drilling costs. VII has also brought down it's drill & complete cost to the $6 $7 million per range. That's in line with POUs, and VII doesn't own it's own drilling company as POU does. They're costs are looking quite close and I do know that each drilling company will essentially just ...more

Absolutely robertlaw ...  so where to you put the share price of pou in 3-6 months compared to vii... myhoneypot made some hreat comparisons on float of shares, debt, amd boes produced .... I do think pou is very undervalued here where they sit now much more so than vii  I do own a ton of both as a disclaimer
Comment by Robertboblaw on Dec 30, 2020 5:21pm
Regardless, IMO don't even bother looking at the near term potential for these two, POU, VII, the real potential is a few years down the road with significantly higher oil prices. Cheers. Side note, stay long stay long stay long.
Comment by MyHoneyPot on Dec 30, 2020 5:27pm
What i have been told is this, POU get more consistent and reliable drilling results with their own crews, they are likely very engaged in the drilling process and keep a close eye on the well cores in real time. I believe that POU costs for drilling are cheaper and i have been told a number but, they also drill wells for other companies so i think it is better to say there are economics there ...more
