NVA market Cap 2.6 billion

Pou own 31.1 million share or almost 400 million dollars worth.  POU could take out the remaining shares for likely 2.6 billion (15% premium) POU endup with 30,000 + 90,000 = 120,000 boe/day ...more

Sounds reasonable to me.. it will be interesting how the shareholder returns are set after the completion of transaction and the adjustment to BOE/day in Q1-25.?

NVA - 31.3 million shares

The NVA shares on the balance sheet alone $13.065 *31.3 million. 409 million dollars.  IMHO MHP

I would say, that they have over $26 dollars cash and investment per share, essentially zero debt and an undrawn billion dollar bank line.  But what about their other oil and gas assets.  ...more

Nuvista is a great fit for Pou. There production is now 91,000 boe and Pou already ows 30 million shares. They are in position to buy NVA as a cash deal and still be in a good cash position

- IF I were on the BODs of MEG Energy, I would 'PROPOSE' that MEG BUY OUT NVA - NVA 'could' PROVIDE MEG with 1/2 of there DILUENT REQUIREMENTS and 100% of their Canadian-SOURCED ...more

Will  ovintiv go after nuvista as well?  Might get a premium on our nuvista shares .  Would make them the largest condensate producer in Canada I believe.

3.325 billion 146.9 million share = approx 22.63 a share in cash.  Ovintiv Inc are a bigger company and these assets likely could be optimized in their hands.  POU is collecting Horn ...more
