I agree and I'm a bit concerned with PPL's share performance lately. We were over $50 not long ago and since then it's pretty much on a decline. PPL is alomst were it was at the start of this year.  Sure the monthly divy pay-out of great but not so great overall if your main share capital dollar value is declining. For example.... 1000x .2175( monthly divy payout ) = $217.50 a ...more

Holy moly, are you sure you should be investing in stocks??? I get such a kick out of some people's expectations and how little they actually know about investing. That being said, I'm enjoying the monthly dividends and the share growth will come in time. We're in a new era in terms of energy with the transition etc. PPL will be right at the forefront with the goods too. I'm not worried as these companies are going to be with ...more

Made 5 % on ppl in 4 days allocate the funds to BABA and made 9% in 2.5 days. It makes no sense to hold anything with algos in hyperdrive to offset implosion of investment banking they are driving volatily off the charts. Microsoft 17% down on a minor miss it's a easy 10 % lift by Fri.

Hey Dean Thanks for the compliment. I've developed a strategy that is great for me & my wife and I think other people might be able to learn from it. Up until I settled on this dividend income/growth strategy back in 2011-2013, I had periods where I really worried about the market and made the odd emotional sell mistake. Now, the short term stuff (eg: the 2020 Covid beat-down, etc) doesn ...more
