They are acquiring properties in which they already hold substantial interests.  They are well aware of potential value.  This should allay the fears of some shareholders who were concerned they'd blow their cash on a risky TMX. Cheers

Totally agree that this is a very good deal for PPL and just as importantly, should take then out of the TMX proceedings. Owning a whack of shares will make this a bit of a bad day tomorrow in terms of portfolio value but that will pass with time so doesn't really matter. It wil be a great buying opportunty. Agree...also somewhat positive if you happen to be a ENB shareholder, as it relates to the reduction of debt.

I doubt this goes.lower than 44 tomorrow.  And given that it is accretive, it likely closes near 45.  A very good deal

It will be interesitng to see. I figure it will open around the $42,85 receipt price, hang there for most of tomorrow, and then work its way back to $45 or so by Dec 19th when the deal closes.  Of course, it doesn;t really matter unless you're buying as it's just short term stuff. We're generally fully invested so don;t have any extra cash at this point. We'l probsbly add a

Higher market share now will generate more revenue with this deal. I'm  also in the camp of natural gas reversing upwards going into the 2nd half of next year so, it should be an exciting year for PPL and other natural stocks.  G/L

The Acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2024 (the “Acquisition Closing Date”).
