Yesterday’s press release

Not being a miner or having much or any knowledge of gold mining was yesterday's press release good, bad or ugly. From the little knowledge that I have it looks to me that it was above average for Probe Gold. Any feedback would be greatly welcomed. Thank you.

It was a solid release.  Good grades at near surface.   IMHO they need to put more emphasis on exploration and expansion of the potential resource and less talk about developing the project.  I am convinced their true intention is to sell to a major, maybe keep a few under explored areas with upside, but this talk about development may scare some investors.  Dave is a ...more

Maybe Probe needs to be a mine builder at this crazy  share price. The profit margins are insane at current  gold prices. If people out there are saying gold is  going  much higher, then why give away a printing press? They could partner up with IAM gold , who  just completed one of Canada's largest gold mining operation . They  Obviously ...more

Isnt Renaud the CEO of IAMGOLD? MAkes no sense not for him to get mor value out of this company. I Just feel like the current BOD is making so much money doing Jack S**t so no one really cares to do anything productive

yes!  Doesn't it seem pretty weird that this company is still under a dollar US after all of this good news and de-risking a very large asset in a great jurisdiction?  Doesn't it bother you all that we are paying these large salaries to a BOD that has not done anything to improve the share price. It seems to me that what is happening is we are buying shares and that money is ...more

Well articulated  The only shakeup that is happening right now is that the stale bulls are getting shaking out of their position in Probe Gold.  Lucky for the fresh bulls!

Except for the fact that your so called " fresh bulls" have taken a big hit from $1.80 to where we are today. There's something going on with the shsre price but it ain't the bulls buyin' I'm not sure what exactly is going on. Nobody here knows for sure either. All I know is I don't like it

It's unfortunate, it does represent a little more dilution ... we are back at a lower buyout.  I wish they address the salaries.  That being said, it takes a while to permit a mine ...current government seems to be a hold up.  Should be in the 1.50-1.80 range ... depends on who is interested.  Just waiting for price of gold to continue to rise..... stay the course and we ...more

Nobody voluntarily gives themselves a lower salary.  The only way change happens is if there's a change forced by shareholders voting out BOD members that don't put the shareholders first or there's a lawsuit brought by shareholders for not meeting their fiduciary duties.   I would have no problem with their robust salaries if the stock price wasn't down over 30 ...more

I have been watching this stock for 5 years and also before the last buy out happened. I knew one day I would become an investor in said stock. Two years ago I bit the bullet and bought way too much trying to make up for lost opportunity. After all research and following for so long I to am disappointed with the performance of our BOD.  I will remain invested but I would also like to know ...more

What will happen if we receive a lowball offer for Probe? it will be interesting to see the outcome of the voting?
Comment by mtzorfas on May 31, 2024 4:03pm
It's going to be based on a premium of maybe 40-50% of the stock price at the time the company is acquired.  I don't know how anyone could be positive that has held this stock from the beginning.  I've purchased at multiple times (including at $1.85 US) and after 7 years it's still miraculously under $1.   No matter what happens, if you held the S&P 500 ...more

I should note that in fairness, me buying a big traunch at $1.85 is on me and that was a horrible decision in retrospect and that's on me and not them so I'm in worse shape than most who got in very early.

IMO the key to the path for a much higher stock price is the  mill head grade. Of course a higher gold price would help .  Over the life of the mine (LOM) of 12.6 years , mill head grade is  1.3g/t  with an annual production of 255 000 ounces . The first five years the head mill grade is 1.67g/t with a an average annual production of 281 000 ounces . In the ...more

Yes there are smaller mines like Victoria gold 500 Emerson camp, 2.5 million ounce 12 year mine life, grade is average around 0.70 gm / ton.  Expensive to operate, mining friendly jurisdiction.,,PRB should be a shoe in at these grades 2 new zones and 1 brand new discovery.   Decent mining jurisdiction, lots of power to site less expensive to run and much higher grades.  I can find ...more
