Good question bioboy.  I have a pov, but I am total shocked that the most important business event in PRX's history has attracted but two comments - yours and mine! Here is an expansion of my thoughts...maybe this will get a ball rolling...any ball!First, the bigest drag on PRX recent share price has been the question, "How are you going to finance Phase 3 in the ...more

Yesterday's news of the backing by WP was quite exciting in conjunction with a very heavy volume of trading. The drop of .055 cents today has me really scratching my head, particularly with the continuation of heavy trading. Obviously there are those who don't think that the news was good. Otherwise they wouldn't be willing to sell at prices reduced from yesterday. I really can ...more

1)  There are currently about 100 million shares at 40 cents, or 40 million dollars in stock out.  The company then wants to sell 59 percent of the company for 35 million.   The math doesn't work.2)  The company needs about 30  million to run stage 3 tests according to earlier posts.  35 million gets stage 3 done but isn't starting to set up actually ...more

Sunchild - Thanks for the view from the other side of the fence. I certainly hope that you are wrong but have a "gut feeling" that you are probably right on in your analysis.

Sanduf - the SP today reflects that WP paid 40 cents, no more imo. Those that favored a co-development deal for its short term gain are likely sellers today as returns from the Phase 3 plan unlocked through the WP financing will provide a significantly larger upside for shareholders but will take longer to realize.  By the second half 2012 an outright sale of the ...more

========================By the second half 2012 an outright sale of the company is the most likely exit strategy - again imo. ========================The future you see is that to develop a single product they have sold all rights to all products in the company.  To put it in terms of a cab ride you pick up a fare.  You take the ride downtown, make twenty bucks, then sign the cab ...more

I don't understand how your analogy is in any way parallel to my POV Sunchild.  Some youestion to help understand your point...When a pharma is prepared to buy the company once PRX302 is cleared for marketing int he USA, the shareholders will get to vote on the deal.  Yes WP will have control, but it is WP that put up the cash to get PRX302 to that point.  What is the ...more

===========When a pharma is prepared to buy the company once PRX302 is cleared for marketing int he USA, the shareholders will get to vote on the deal.  Yes WP will have control, but it is WP that put up the cash to get PRX302 to that point.  What is the problem with that?  WP didn't put up the cash so far.  Current shareholders have.  WP will put in less than we ...more

I understand better now Sunchild.  Let me offer some thoughts:Point 1 - if the current shareholders are prepared to put up the $35 million to get through Phase 3, then that would be viable.  I have over 200,000 shares and would not be prepared to put up $100K based on the info that the company has provided todate.  WP is and I am ok with that.  I would be OK with any investor ...more

Congratulations on the shares you own.  At over 200k shares you own a good chunk of the company today.   I have never had close to that interest in Protox but have been impressed with what they have to offer.   ------------------------If the risk is so low, bid pahrma would have been all over a deal after the 3-month results from Phase 2b were available.  They were ...more

I hear you.  I don't agree with all your points but it's a good discussion.  Hopfully others will jump into to thread.

Sunchild you make some very good points. All I know is that when you look at market comparibles. Antarez etc. They did much better for there shareholders with lesser products.I have always been of the mind that these guys dont know how to run a public company. We have alway lagged behind lesser company. I dont believe the story about bad markets. The product is good enough to attract a kessei and ...more
