3 MW torch ???
To my knowledge and experience proven 3 MW plasma torch do not exists. And not for lack of trying by the experts during the last 40+ years ! < br=""> The best proven commercial units ( USA or French) run close to 2 MW.( 1.5 - 2 MW max. actually) PYR torch power between 50kW to 800kW. Check by yourself on the net on their own product description. < br=""> Sorry to burst your dream , but I am horrified to read all the BS written by idiots on this board who know absolutely nothing about these technological subjects, and are simply too lazy to do a minimum of DD. < br=""> What are their objectives??? < br=""> Beware! A little knowledge is dangerous !

So, are you saying that PYR's torches do not work? You should probably think carefully when you answer. You know, that slander thing...

Since PyroGenesis is the world leader in this technology, I think we can trust what they say, as compared to someone on stockhouse who has limited knowledge at best. Jmo

A Westinghouse mark 11h are now rated at 3 mw according to ATC. The Rio Tinto Saguenay dross plant has 2mw rated running at 1.7 mw since 1990. Geneva Steel is using Mark 11 at 2.4 mw since 1995 I presume the only limit is efficiency of power supply which I would think improved since the 80's
