Ma'aden shopping spree continues...
Ma'aden continues its buying spree... first they buyout Alcoa's stake in their joint venture Sunday and today they buy a 21% stake in Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) project for another ~$1B. Alba is among the world’s largest aluminium smelters outside of China, producing more than 1.55 billion metric tonnes per year. This combination of Ma’aden’s aluminum business and Alba would create a global powerhouse in aluminum production... that sounds like a lot of dross to process Peter!
