Look at the 3iq Twitter feed which addresses the discount to all of the closed funds including the option for the fund to buy back units on the market at below NAV which is accretive to all unit holders.

So, we know the closed end funds have some built in mechanisms to help off set any extreme discounts, should they occur. IMO, the premium side will also be kept in check. (alternative options, who wants to buy high) Therefore, we end up with a fairly equal playing field, except cost (MER). Perhaps, this soon, will also balance out?  In the mean time, where would you buy...

My guess is: 1) the discount will reduce significantly in the next few days due to market efficiency and at a minimumum will be at or close to parity by the redemption date. This could be accelerated by share buying within the trust as raised as a possibility in the Twitter statement; 2) worst case scenario, we can all redeem for NAV (less a couple of percent for costs) at June 15.
