I like to buy one hour before closing. I normally hit the bid too make sure I get filled. I don't think you can wrong buying now and over the next couple weeks..Just be patient. IMO

I also add...As you know most trading platforms allow you to set a time on your buys. I set my "stink bids" for 3 minutes before the close. Especially at times when I try to grab capitulation asks. Sometimes they get filled, sometimes not. 

Pros at the close.

Just my opinion.
