Investors are trapped because they would take a big hit in the S/P if they tried to sell a sizable position. Even a sell of 10k shares would cause a lower share price given the low volume. Investors are trapped. Damned if you do hold and damned if you sell. Swing traders have left the building...

Investors are not trapped. That is the most foolish statement I have heard. If you actually had any shares in this company and decided to sell at market - a buyer will appear. Do you honestly think everyone is posting their bids through limit orders? Unfortunately there is alot of resistance near 8.00 and some heavy sellers tend to appear when we get there, but once we pass that level, we'll

Yup...everything is black and white. Lack of buyers/lack of sellers = low volume.  Hmmm...... We shall see where the grey is.....
