Looks like the penant formation failed.  

It was on track to breakout hard to the upside and then Apple issued their appeal brief and people started selling.   The short term uptrend support line broke a couple days ago.  Next major support is the 50DMA and we might need to test that before moving higher.

I agree with all of that.  That is why I am invested in this stock.   The technicals provide insight into the swing trading opportunities.   I have tripled my Quarterhill trading stack by trading the immense volatility in the stock.

WiLAN filed a cross-appeal on July 28th. Opening briefs are expected to be filed before year-end. Beyond that, we expect a trial date sometime in the fall of 2021, with that date likely being set in the spring of 2021.

Bounced off the 50DMA support line as I suspected. That was a 10% swing trade opportunity if you sold and rebought in at that point.   Volume has been increasing on the downside over last 3 days.  Former support is now new resistance.  2.67 is the overhead resistance.  2.50 is a major support line, if that breaks we fall further towards the 200DMA.
