Case against Amazon dead?
From Docketbird this afternoon Orders 406 & 407 do not look good. I wasn't able to copy the text.
If this is only an adverse interim decision then maybe the action is still alive? But Judge Andrews sided with Amazon on everything.
If it is dead then I would assume the parallel actions against Microsoft and Google should also be dead.
Cabbie?

if there's urgency to acquire ITS assets, its hard to count on patent assertion to reliably deliver. This case has been ongoing for 5 years. I stand by my thesis and rationale why the Wilan sub could be divested by Q1. The court has assigned a value for the siri IP at zero, for now anyway. Next up, Apple.

The wireless, semiconductor and dram patents all have key patents that read on essential standards. The Amazon case was very low probability, but very high value. It was also financed under partnership program so limited expense. Next stop is a motion for judge to reconsider his lazy decision or appea to CAFC.
