We need Stephen Takacsy back

on Bnn to give us another thumbs up. Was a big position of his the last few times he was on the show. Benj Gallander was another supporter, it's too bad Bnn doesn't have him on anymore.

Sorry but not true! If I was buying QTRH when he FIRST RECOMMENDED this stock than you would be about a buck under by now! Not sure if there are anyone who would take him seriously after Not one, two but THREE recomendation as a strong buy!  Throw darts at it will be better off! What my spidey senses telling me and I have been saying this for awhile ( looks to be right again) that the greedy ...more

I was kidding Socrates, usually when thinly traded stocks like Quarterhill get the Bnn bump they slide back to the norm within a few trading sessions. Something is definitely amiss as far as trading goes. We should be at least $2  a share with the previous news releases.

Barney, you haven't put that guy on ignore yet? All the cool kids put him on the steaming pile of ignores long ago. Probably a Rekr plant. More like Elmer FUD than an ancient philosopher.

I was close to the ignore button Maxmoe but haven't pulled the trigger. Socrates has had some valid points . Stock is sure languishing lately.

Got an indirect boost from Bruce Campbell on BNN today. He was defending that pos Rekr. Remember those guys? All talk, no contracts. Qtrh eats their lunch. Dipped from $4 ish to $1ish. Got greedy, believed their own bs and failed to raise the equity they needed. Added debt instead. BAD idea for any microcap that is cash flow challenged. Qtrh is MUCH more successful, conservative, and lower ...more

Agree completely.  REKR's balance sheet is ugly and it had negative operating cash flows and negative EBITDA during Q1 and Q2.  "Revenue Sharing Notes" within debt is not something you normally see in a public company.  Not sure if the REKR equity is worth anything, and not sure how the market values it at US$1.22 per share currently.  In contrast, QTRH has ...more

I just listened to Bruce Campbell on BNN today.  He must be really long REKR.  He is down 60% from when he made it a top pick in the past.   What am I missing? REKR had negative EBITDA of $10.5 million in Q1 and negative $7.7 million in Q2.  Negative Cash Flow from Operating Activities of $18 million during the first half of the year.  High interest rates on the ...more

Totally agree. Sometimes the pros get it wrong. Rekr is like a parade. Fun to watch it go by, but then there's nothing left but horse poop in the street.

I agree with you though you have to give Rekor credit for their dramatic sales growth. Also, note their high levels of R&D spending. Much higher than Quarterhill's. So one might think that Rekor is likely to be beating Quarterhill technologically. On the other hand, there's Quarterhill's acquisition of Red Fox--tech advancement through acquisition.

At a point, I thought REKR was going to go bankrupt; it didn't.  Berman holds the cards if it does go teats up, as he has first call on the assets, I beleive.  REKR continues to sell equity and borrow to stay aftoat.  Not a great business model.  But there are some bigger institutional investors that hand in.   Trailing 12-month revenue is $42.4M (+59%, which is ...more
