Just lately
with all the hurricanes and bad weather Florida and other areas were without power for weeks or longer. When do someone need a car most? In an emergency to get away! Well without a charging station or generator in your trunk....you aint going anywhere fast.. It was widely reported that ppl with ev had to abondone their cars and catch rides with gas powered cars to get away........ Then the cars got water damage and its gone.......lol electric fires can't be put out THEY NEED TO BURN THEMSELF OUT!!
No power = no phone, internet, charging,.........but its so nice looking and can SELF drive me on the hiway............................................... ehhhhhhhhhhhh

One more thing , Many of the Tesla superchargers are powered by Solar and the electricity is stored is Tesla Megapacks ( battery storage of electricity units) So you see you are much better off with an EV in a wheather type emergency. The Tesla superchargers are adapted and have become the industry standard for all brands of EV's .
