SHORT-SIDED PEOPLE

Arguing whether the CNE opens or not DOES NOT effect Riocan. We all know concerts and sporting events will be the LAST thing to open.  For now, they will get gyms open, movies and retail by the spring. RIOCAN is a long-date 20 year asset and hold. Who cares what happens next few months. I want to top up my million dollar reit porfolio and lock in attractive yields.

WHEN HR REIT AND RIOCAN start raising dividends again it will make my NET MONTHLY INCOME 6K AND I CAN RETIRE.

CHEERS

IF the CNE does not open, it means that our society is not safe yet.  Make no mistake, Covid19 is a very infectious disease.  If society is not safe yet, then neither is our retail sector.  Yes, RioCan has great assets.  A Sundial is a great invention too, but it is useless in the shade.

Society is fine, canada is fine, those managing the country, our money and the people are the ones not safe. Those who want to go to a restaurant should be free to support those businesses at this time and those who dont cant just stay the fvck home hiding from life. Yes sounds harsh but its life and it's been life as long as weve known it, cars are not safe, cancer is not safe yet we still ...more

The lack of understanding about COVID-19 is utterly amazing. Comparisons with slipping on banana peels or driving or sky  diving is silly. If I tried to explain that I would be silly. I have never reasoned with  a drunk or with a covidiot.  It woud be foolish to do so. mat

You dont have to explain anything and your still silly, you are exactly like every other karen out there, complete refusal to understand or learn any point of view outside the government and media orders. Yeah we all get it your scared sh1tless of covid so everyone else should be as well right? I talked to an 85 year old man who said and I quote "I'm not going to spend my final few years ...more

Excellent point you made. I had a similar experience with my mother when I tried to protect her. She has pretty severe autoimmune case. Basically a tough pneumonia could take her. I was worried about her health and begged her to stay indoors and don't meet anyone. She flat out refused. She said she will do what is necessary as precautions but lived a happy and full life and not going to spend ...more

It was probably some 30 year old schmuck no masker I will do what I like because its my rights that gave it to the old guy at the nursing home who then infected my stepmom working there, who then brought it home to my 83 year old father... 20 and 30 year olds dont need to worry for the most part but there would be thousands more elderly dead if less people dont take care and keep clean ...more

Gashole perhaps you missed the part where it was mentioned of trying to protect the elderly but some arent willing to hide and live there last what started as 2 weeks and has progressed every month now to going on a year hiding in a shell, I do what I feel is safe and I DONT subject myself to volatile elders, the ones I spend my time with are perfectly comfortable and do the same, it's no ...more

Sure I get what you are saying, but just some of the comments (im not going back and quoting them all) have been rather callous - maybe im a bit biased right now considering I have family with Covid, but I just wonder where people draw the line... I look at my own daughter and she is trying her best but she is 20, and bascially said "if I have to stay in my room all day I might as well kill ...more

You and your covid phobia, actually posting comparing people killed in motor vehicle accidents to slipping on a banana peel??? And you suggest your going to explain something and not sound silly?? Wow.
