looks like the hot money doesnt want to stick around for dividends and spin off. I noticed some interesting closes late last week...with conservative assessment that sde is now worth 16-17 $/share could be interesting to pic this up. Also looking how management carved out certain assets for spin off and remaining sde....me thinks there could be some interesting upside in the remaining assets.

with an entry around 4...and then again around 8....I think i will ride this out with some "free upside"
wish this was in a registered account for ease of accounting.

Interesting if energy market picks up in short term - will this be deadmoney until the complete execution of this deal.

The current price reflects the market view of the sum of the parts, supporting a sell now strategy.  But, there are many who cannot sell and walk away from that dividend; many of those will sell after they get it, likely putting some pressure on post closing SDE price.  Owning a similar amount of CPG, I am also dealing with the illusion that SDE is trnsferring 40,000 bopd to CPG
