I now have Logan shares and warrants in my account as of 13:42 Pacific time. Don't get too excited though since they and SDE are locked from trading and also no sign yet of that cold hard cash that we have been waiting for. Nevertheless this is progress in a way.

Itrade agent was surprised everything is being done manually. Anyone know why they did this?

I don't know for certain but SDE was once 19% owned by Igor Makarov who lives in Florida. Living in Florida didn't allow him to escape the notice of Chrystia Freeland, Canadian Finance minister, and be sanctioned for being a Russian oligarch. Makarov had to divest to under 10% so as to not have to report his holdings. From what I gather the first special dividend did not require the pony

got the $9.50 dividend, logan shares and logan warrants that expire jul 31 2023. sde shares were locked up and are now unlocked. what may be missing is an extra 0.10 added dividend of this transactional asset sale?

Wow! Dave you got me all excited and I checked ny RBC account and the "Eagle has Landed!" as in the dividend is now there as of 07:35 July 8th. Nevertheless the SDE shares are still untradeable as is the case for Logan and the warrants, but I am sure that will be fixed by Monday. Also the 10 cent dividend that will come from the new reorganized SDE is payabe, if memory serves, on the end

The $9.50 dividend + Logan shares and warrants showed up in my TD Direct Investing account Saturday morning.  No sign  of a trading symbol yet for either  Logan Energy or the warrants so no idea when we will be able to buy/sell Logan shares..

Would someone please advise on the  pros and cons of  purchasing  Logan warrents. Thanks

I assume you are asking if you should exercise your warrants which means you can buy Logan shares at $0.35. I plan on doing this when they actually trade. The reason is that Logan c its large chunk of Montney, a piece of Simonette and a gas plant and cash ought to be worth more than $0.35. I believe Shubham Gharg was estimating value of better than $0.70 and Logan retains the SDE exploration team.

The big one here is you will need to pay (excersise them) $.35 per warrant by the end of the month so you don't have much time. The concensus seems to be they are fairly priced (assets only). Bottom line for me is $350 for 1000 shares is a fair risk/ reward senerio so I'll be excersising mine.
