Mispricing? In the long term value wins out. If you look at the long term chart of NG v.s. SA it shows that the stock price of SA has sonsistently outperformed NG since May 2006.

the few big companies , that might want the gold , know the gold is not going anywhere , and with costs rising , and the price of gold dropping ,and the cost of money going up , they know there is no penalty for waiting . the lower the share price drops just means they can buy it cheaper . the stansbery gsa anylyst , doody , values this at $75/share , krishak5 , i assume you are a small holder ...more

"know the gold is not going anywhere" - anyonw who "knows" that is a fool. I have been investing in gold mining stocks for almost 50 years, starting in the 1970's gold bull market. The one thing I am absolutely certain about, proven beyong doubt by 50 years following gold, is that no one knows where gold is going, or when it will get there! krishak5 , you misunderstood my "know the gold is not going anywhere" comment . i meant the proven and probable gold that seabridge has in the ground is not going away , so the companies that are intereted in it are in no need to rush and make a deal .

OK - thanks for the clarification, and I agree with your conclusion. But if there is more than one suitor for KSM, the deal may be done sooner - especially if Au & Cu prices recover and rally to new ATH's.

Krishak5 -, yup  if the metals prices start to recover then that could speed up the companies that are interested to make a deal . i think we need weakening in the u.s. dollar , to help the gold price  and china to stop their insane covid lockdowns and get their economy moving for copper to recover . i think this becomes a 2023 play instead of 2022 . it may take longer but i think ...more

Krishaks makes a lot of good points.  SA does  the best job of any company of maximizing resource and keeping the # of shares O/S as low as possible.  At the moment they have 80 M shares outstaI was a coin dealer 40 and bought many collections.  In the early days you didn't nding.I will take their numbers and see what we come up with.           ...more
