Conspiracy Theory

This is out in left field, or is it? It seams that there is a heavy resistance to keep stock price below $.62 over the last month or so. If someone wanted out, $.62 or $.60...whats the difference? Kevin said..."These positive results will be incorporated into the upcoming updated Mineral Resource Estimate anticipated in Q1 and will support the advancement of the feasibility study for the Goldboro Gold Project," in last NR. If a major player was thinking of making a deal for $300M+ for Goldboro or Anx, it would make sense not to let stock price run away.
Or maybe this Covid getting to me. Please feel free to rip into this and shoot this theory down.

Putting big asks at a certain level is one of the strategy to kill the momentum of a stock or to keep it low.  Now, to adhere to your conspiracy theory, it would be useful to know how this 450k ask at 62 cents is structured.  What I know is that there are 6 sellers for this block.  If there is one big seller and the rest is composed of small orders, than yes perhaps someone wants to ...more

Anx is in a good long term position. It has millions in the bank and a steady stream of income. It has no debt. It is progressing well at Goldboro (although we all wish it was bigger). There is no need for a partner to develop goldboro, no need for a major capital raise, good chances a lot could be done by debt financing. So ANX is not desperate. There are not signs of a major acquiring lots of ...more

I meant we all wish it was faster not bigger.  We know the resource estimate will make it a lot bigger.

Thanks for your thoughts. Still, doesn't make sense why anyone would have to be anonymous, it's not like we know who it is when TD or CIBC make a trade. Anonymous buys and then sells. I figure someone selling 500 k gains or loses $5k per trade. Makes no sense that with all the good news around the corner, anyone would put a huge chunck like that??? If and when its time to sell, I wont be ...more

"Anonymous" is used by a dealing desk when they're handling order flow as Correspondent for some broker down south in the United Bankrupt Banana Republic States of Gulag Gestapo America, and they don't want the order appearing to be on behalf of one of their own real Customers .  That's all.  Nothing nefarious about it, at all.

It is used by inside players like hedge funds, Institutions, Brokerage houses, Banks or anybody who does not want to be known, thus anonymous. One thing it is for sure, it is not transparent. So when things are not transparent then there is always an ill feeling or wondermant about the ordeal.
