Merger DD : Remember When ANX Bought Orex?

The deal at that time ( March 2017) was that Orex shareholders would get 0.85 ANX share for each Orex share. The offer at that time was about $15M in value, when the resource for Goldboro was 831k ounces and gold was US$1250.

Do you think that getting now about only $20M after 7 years, with more than 3 times the resource and twice the gold price is a fair offer?

I do not think so.

Geeezzzz again.... It's better than nothing!! What you don't get is that we're not selling only the property but the company who comes with HUGE debt and MAJOR concerns regarding the sustainability of the company (BANKRUPTCY)!!... "Many thanks" to our overpaid Management who killed this company but funny, you have been defending and supporting them.... I've been posting ...more

Rogg, you are the one that is surprising me the most: you've always been criticising management but when you have a real option to tell them they are wrong (read here that they SOLD SGNL for Tim Bits) by refusing the first offer we get, you go back under your rock and accept their poor negociations. I'm asking you (and others) to read the latest NEXG financials and you will notice that ...more

DoumDiDoum,    I would remind you that FAIR market value is defined as the maximum price you can obtain in an open market without any restrictions. Not what you FEEL it should be worth. Right now, everything surrounding small non producing miners is absolutely awful. There is very little interest from investors, finance companies or royalty buyers because there is very little ...more

Grumpy, I'm not questioning about this offer being the best one they've got, I'm questioning about the selling price we have for our shares. Market valuation is base on timing, you know? Management negociated in a period during which we were at a low price, and the stock was also being driven down. We can extend the Nebari mature date to February 2026. Receiving permits in Q2 will be ...more

With all due respect DDD. With all the negotiations that would have been had I am sure SGNL asked for the best deal possible with NEXG.  The numbers we have I am sure are the ones that "work" for NEXG...doing better as you hope I am sure was discussed and the math for NEXG would not work...thus the price presented (take it or leave it).  Talking to management...this was the ...more

Amen: "I feel you lose a bit of credibility as you have stated before that you feel the people involved from BMO Capital Markets probably don’t know much about the valuation of mining assets, but then you insist that YOU know what SGNL shares should be worth and that all the mining engineers, CPAs, advisors and other experts involved got it all wrong." Narcissist and stubborn, ...more
