Hey S&F I hate to p*ss on the party but I think they should never have been paying out such a big divy. It's always been the same story with the big BSer Colbourne singing the same song. I think the guy is a total slimeball. I owned SGY from Nov, 2013 to Apr, 2016 and got torched. I sold at $2.47 which sounded bad at the time but looks rather nice at this point. hey sarge, i remember o'connell saying the problem with the oil industry was when the price of oil surged there was a an explosion of new companies being run by ceo's that had no business running a company. he was right, and the same thing happened when justin legalized weed. if there was ever a sector to use etf's it's oil and gas. even solid companies can implode on any given ...more

Hey Leo How she go? The other problem was that many of the O&G producers also got carried away initially with the income trust model and then the high yield dividend model when it's the wrong business for that approach. As a retiree living off dividend income and after having gottem burnt, I decided to now only not ever buy an O&G producer for the long term but to never buy anything ...more
