UK based investor here and not familiar with local/tribal politics.  Can this affect the project or is the tribes efforts futile?

Never say never. However, the previous operator at Eskay filled in a lake with their tailings (Albino TSF) and started on a second lake. Permits are still valid, I believe. This was not controversial because both lakes have no fish. I don't believe there's water outflow from either of these lakes, but I'm not positive. The company's ore does contain "deleterious elements" ...more

PS: The company's feasibility study was published quite recently. It should be a document about 150-200 pages long.  You can be sure that all questions related to potential pollution will be thoroughly answered there. Take a close look in the table of contents. It's possible it's addressed in more than one place.

I pull a 32 ft rv trailer and i would never go for an Electric truck. I live in British Columbia and i would be stopping to charge too often, where ever you could find it. I like to camp off road , forestry  campsites. We have a lot of steep grades, leaving the coast for the interior, Kootenay's in the province, the battery would not last. I personally think a lot of people don't want ...more

(Shadow10) I'm really surprised  they haven't pushed the propane thing more I used to own a pick up on it. The price was so cheap, not anymore though unfortunately but it burns so clean with very low emissions. Yes you lose horse power by maybe 15% but seriously the vehicles made today are made with so much they would be a regular horse powered vehicle as in previous  years. Also ...more
