Perma-tanking for three years

Like everyone else I am starting to get sick of it. Cut senior management's compensation, then tie it directly to market cap. No new options. Cut all the deadwood and sell the least profitable divisions of the business. Cut the dividend by $0.04 per share and apply the savings directly to debt. That would lower debt by $10M per quarter if they don't do anything else stupid that would raise it. Market cap, and thus share price, will start to recover if these measures are taken.

In addition, management (or NEW management) needs to take a hard look at Brookfield's claws in the business. If it is deemed potentially harmful then steps must be taken to reduce its impact.
