CEOs always want to look like superstars, even if they have half a brain.  I like that he came out with his bad news in Dec.  I think that was all of it.  It is a signal to his buddies to buy on the news at a lower price and good news will cometh.  Man look at the price of oil.  No electic cars tomorrow to drive years away to replace gas.

I'm happy that brokers cannot destroy the stock's daily gains and manipulate it as they see fit. A lot of upward pressure which we should keep an eye on in case it reverses in the blink of an eye. Experienced is right, we have to tread carefully if we want to maximize the gains from this oil rally. I just wish SU can catch up before the rally fizzles out

My thoughts exactly about being pissed not being 40 bucks.  When the oil market fizzels we will  have missed the boat.  SU admin. do your f'in job and remeber your stock holders.

Personally I think buybacks will continue,and future growth will come from Atlantic Canada. Suncor has increased ownership in Terra Nova and the fpso in Spain will be refurbished and put back into production in early 2023. Suncor has increased stake in West White Rose and though Cenovus is the operator,I believe we will see construction restart very soon.With cash earnings higher then expected

Well buying back dividends is saving 4.61% atm.  Thats like paying off a really high bond.  Other than that i would focus on the highest debt notes they have.
