Extra Cash Flow

I am going to sleep tonight smiling, comforted by the fact that every second, every minute, hour, day, Suncor is raking in huge extra cash flow from it's refining, and marketing divisions due to today's stellar oil and product prices.

Every 159 litre bbl of oil that goes through the entire process now creates around $300 worth of product at today's retail pump prices, before costs.

Oil companies that are vertically integrated like Suncor from mine to pump are going to have a hard time hiding this massive elephant in the 22Q1 results, and it will be compared with much lower price forecasts. Earnings are only a few weeks away from today.

Crude Oil: every 159 liters barrel of Crude oil produces the following:
* 73 liters Petrol
* 36 liters Diesel
* 20 liters Jet fuel & heavy fuel oil
* 6 liters Propene
&
* 34 liters of other products (Butane, Asphalt & Sulphur)

Remember just a little while ago, when share prices were just a little bit lower?

Every day above $60 WTI was considered a good day.

Have a good weekend all, and don't forget to turn your clocks forward Sunday.

No, there is lots of daylight all year round here, no need to save any of it. For me that means markets will open earlier, at 8:30PM, and only go till 3AM. I get 1 hour extra sleep. LOL
