New position
Added today, oversold imho will drip the dividend and hold for a few years.. If interests rates come down this will go up.. GLTA

itsalie...so true...many are so short termed focused today. T and even BCE are not for those hoping to make a quick buck overnight. They are meant to be long term holds. Right now the telecoms are in the gutter and thats when you want to buy them.

If you have accumulated in the last 3 years and happened to buy 5k in 2022 you could possibly be down $65,000 on the stock (-13) from a high of $34.65 in April of 22 and may have recouped $10,000 in dividends. Not a very good investment if that was the case but if you are buying here your lucky, you may get them even cheaper.

quietobserver...I have never been a holder of Telus until just lately. I am looking to build a significant position on this weakness. I am also accumulating BCE at this time. Both stocks getting taken down daily with BCE recently taking out its 10 year low.
