First quarter revenue was down 0.6% year over year.  Although eps exceded expectations  revenu wasnt as expected.  Co in financial pressure but still not in downward trend or stabilized.  This may not be the best time to sell or buy.

What do u think will happen prior to ex dividend date? I think 2% gain this week most likely, fall prior to ex date?

That seems to be what usually happens , up before the cutoff date then it drops .50 to 1.00 cents while shareholders sit and wait for .38 cents. 331,000 shares shorted or sold off when it opened as high as 22.60 , inflation continues so it is hard to say when interest rates will drop and telus goes up, even if rates drop it won't be much.
