WSJ story today

Looks like Td will get the final ruling today from the Dept of Justice which will included a market cap contraint on thie rUSA busines, this concides with TD anoouncement of a conference call today. Last time DOJ did this to Wels Fargo 10 years ago they have never ecovered.

My take, the fine and the Asset Cap is already priced into TD, as TD is trading at a significant discount to where it should be. In addition, you are wrong about Wells Fargo. They still have the Cap that was put in place in 2018, which is scheduled to be removed in 2025, but their share price has most definitely recovered. Yes it has recovered but not anywhere near where thier competiors have.

case in point  in the past 10 years wfc has gained 12.56% in value and bac has risen 142.25%, jpm even more , even citgroup has done better than wfc and they have had thier problems as well as wfc

I agree, this is a hiccup and slap on the wrist. Hoping to pick some up today in the high 70's for a long term hold.
