Theratechnologies Inc > AGM was horrible

AGM was horrible

I relistened the AGM call once again.  So bad, so unenthusiastic at a time the stock price needs a pep talk.  My gut tells me to sell this time around since they are clearly bad at what they do.  Sorry I will sell my block because I personnally think they will deep six the company in dept and numerous bad decisions.  It's their story and it will perpetuate in the prsent form.

I would not like to see you potentially make a decision you might shortly come to regret. We are likely three weeks away from the FDA giving them their approval to restart TH-1902. Then they have promised a conference call to fully discuss the phase 1b trial. The stock was more than double the currnt price when the phase 1b was in progress previously so I would not be surprised to see the stockk ...more

Any thoughts on when we might start to see our board making some overdue changes after the AGM votes made our concerns unmistakenly and clear?
Comment by SPCEO1 on May 13, 2023 11:13pm
No, but I am hopeful they will evaluate the situation and take appropriate actions before too much time passes. At the same time, how they announce any changes can be done in ways to maximize the impact. So, it might take time to sort that out.
Comment by Garp1 on May 14, 2023 9:30am
Spceo, you specifically said you would abstain this time around , it's hard to trust you anymore. I don't know what management promised you or what changed in management to make you act differently, but your  agenda is not communicated completly to this board or at least deferred until it suit your needs.
Comment by SPCEO1 on May 14, 2023 11:05am
Management did not promise me anything but we had a productive conversation, which if you read what I originally posted, is what I was seeking. I said if they needed our votes, they could contact me and we could have a productive conversation. They did need my votes and we did have a productive conversation, so that was a good first step. They got what they wanted (our votes to secure the AGM ...more

It's not about TH-1902, it's about the share price and everything surronding the bad communication for the last three years, the missed sales projections, the failure to find a partner in anything, the constant postponment in the delivery process. I find it hard to believe that with your knowledge and background that  you can only perceive TH-1902 as the main culprit in the share ...more

I share your POV.
Comment by houbahop on May 14, 2023 7:38pm
I would add,  this is why it is a VERY uncomfortable place to be.
Comment by Trogarzon on May 15, 2023 9:50am
At this point apart from delevering on the Sort1 1b they best thing that coud happen is a 3$ obid on the company.  Call it it a day and close the books for good on this nightmare.
Comment by SPCEO1 on May 15, 2023 10:25am
The share price now is obviously correlated to TH-1902. You got all the evidence you need to prove that on 12/1/22 and you may ahve  noticed the share price has perked up a little in the last six weeks or so on the back of the TH-1902 resubmission. Trogarzo's bad sales versus original expectations were the main reason for the share price decline prior to the TH-1902 pause. And that was a ...more

Honestly, if these many fails had happened when they were at Pfizer, Pfizer would have kicked their butts out in a flash. They got too many passes.  The issue is trust. Trust to deliver. It's all about onco and NASH. NASH, they failed to move the needle.
Comment by SPCEO1 on May 15, 2023 2:41pm
On NASH, they took something that was not even thought to have a chance and advanced it rather amazingly to the rpecipice of being real. I doubt it will ever get there at this point but THTX leadership deserves kudos for taking something that was nothing as far as they have. They came close and I suppose there is still a very, very long shot it could become something in NASH. But I am not counting ...more

Thats becasue it never had a chance from the start, but typical you, excuse after excuse day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.  Dont you get tired of the BS?

You state that the big miss in Trogarzo sales is spread over 2 Ceos ..... Tanguay guided for 500 million$ then 250 millions What did Paul guided and achieved?
Comment by SPCEO1 on May 15, 2023 4:07pm
I can't remember specifics, so maybe you are right that Paul never provided a guidance range for sales prior to last year, which he met. I have a feeling it will be tougher to meet this year's guidance as the math is challenging after the slow start to the year and THTX telling an analyst they did not expect sales to really kick into high gear until the second half of the year (indicating ...more

What are the things that did not work as he had INDICATED? Th 1902- did not work in humans as it did in mice.......Is that what you are referring to? you blame nhim for that ? why? Unfortunately when you make 2 million dollars a year working for a company whos worth sub 100million you are going to be held accountable for a lot of the failures regardless of how much of a part you played in it. You seem to defend him to a fault which is admirable but not very realistic
Comment by palinc2000 on May 15, 2023 7:19pm
You blame  him based on .....   how much he earns   .......!!!! Great theory
Comment by Trogarzon on May 15, 2023 7:59pm
He was brought onboard to do deals.  No deals after 3 years.  Irresponsible spending that the board did not do it's job of containing with the result we now have a worthless pipeline and 65M usd of dept at 15% that will choke the company for a long time if not kill it..  Incompentence in communications and shareholder relations with the result we now have a penny stock on the ...more

I dont blame him im simply pointing out the fact that when you are a ceo it all comes up to you regardless

He's the capitain of the ship. It comes with responsabilities.  He should take all the blame. 100% all the blame. this is business, not daycare.

Take the blame and hit the road back to saving the planet.

You are a victime of a highly manipulative and toxic management. They have obtained from you what they really wanted, aka another year of doing the same thing. You could have used this opportunity to forced them to walk the talk by taking decisions to bring the company to profitability before year end. Now we all can see this won't happen. The easy way to send a message without causing to ...more

I do not think anyone associated with THTX is, or should be, in a comfortable place. Let's see what happens regarding the directors, especially the two that barely got reelected despite our votes in favor of them. Shareholders sent a clear message and a smaller board is called for based on cost cutting needs alone. I do not believe I supported the status quo in my conversation with the board ...more
