A few thoughts about the upcoming weeks

In the November call, Backens said a few things that I thought we may hear about earlier, but to date, no news has been released:

1. He discussed updated FY17 production guidance.  He said he would rather not comment until it was finalized, but "more detailed guidance on SF" would be provided
2. He discussed the CEO search was in "advanced stage" and expected it to be completed fairly soon.
3. He indicated that Q1/Q2 would "be strong".

I would expect the next few months to be fairly active.  New guidance (although perhaps tempered considering the gold price?), New CEO and progress on Ana Paula.

Should be an interesting year.

When it comes down to TMM alone, you are absolute right. My thoughts are more in Gold price and political riks. I can not see that FED will do three interest hikes this year. Before they can see any resultes of Trump`s politics they wont move IMO earliest in May/June. Can  Trump deliver  on all his promisses? I doubt it and if, in what timeframe FED will try to weaken the Dollar to an
