Congrats to all who DCA'd and held on.

Lots of bids at 2.18....are people trying to get the 2cents/share or is there a bigger offer expected?

 I am guessing that if the market is allowing you $2.19 to sell and take the cash instantly (It was early trading), then the market is also anticipating further bidding as a realistic possability.  Why else would they take your shares for almost no profit.  So my question is: Apart from SD Gold who could come back with a bigger offer. Who are the other likely suspects.  After ...more

As far as I have been able to ascertain, any Chinese controlled company (including SD Gold) would be prohibited from bidding for TMAC based on the recent security review decision.  In addition, another bidder other than Agnico Eagle will need to recognize a modest bid (say $2.30 or $2.50) will simply be matched by AE, who will get the deal done at any reasonable price.
