If it stays under $10 I wish they could wait to reinstate the distributions and just keep buying shares back until there are barely any shares outstanding left.

I believe he is now but he stopped Jan. 11. Last year they reported Q4 earnings March 14 (pushed back originally from a late Feb date), which would still be more than a month. Perhaps someone knows officially his blackout period.

my guess is he puts in a modest distribution but keeps enough to continue the buybacks. i would rather use the available cash to buyback units here and would add more if he does.

I agree, but I think we are a long way away from that happening here! I am expecting to see a lot of red ink from writedowns in the Q4 results (like Allied) which will inevitably spook retail investors and the price will sink below $7.50. Drimmer will fill his boots at those levels before announcing a sale of assets close to NAV, do a SIB and make off handily.
