Crazy. The crook probably wants to keep the money for the company so that he could take it private and get all the money. This is not how reits work. I want to see active investor fund trying to take it away from him by offering a hostile bid.

This is a very sad commentary on how some investors/traders (speculators/gamblers) feel when a company they invested money in does not perform to their expectations.  Blame management; suggest or imply they are doing something illegal. That is SAD.

Not sure what you are talking about. You seem very SAD. Long term investors want their distributions and it is not being paid because of one decision maker. Shareholders never vote on it. Why would you be holding a REIT if distribution was not being paid for years? Is this normal for REITs, you think? If I was trying to take over the company, I would not pay any distribution out so that company is ...more

He as zero incentive to take it private, unless he could sell the company for $35+ per share. If someone is willing to do that, that would benefit all of us anyways.
