For once, we agree bagcheese. Can we bury the hatchet and agree that TOU (and ARX) are great companies. I hold both.

Before the recent report TOU had a P/E of 11. The P/E is now 8 even after the increase in share price. CNQ has a P/E of 16 and Suncor's P/E is over 20.  Tourmaline could have an increase in share price over $60 and still be cheap on a price to earnings basis particularly if they keep reporting like they have for years. And if I read correctly, there's more special dividends coming ...more

Oil/gas stocks do not trade as a ratio of pe they are more reflective as trading as a ratio of price to cash flow

and lately (less capex desired by investers -> Return of Capital) - price to FREE cash flow.
