Hang in There

I have a full position in Tourmaline and have held it for a few years. I am concerned about its falling stock price. Is there a compelling reason for this, and should I lighten up on the stock?

The energy sector has been veyr weak as investors fret about rising US production, a China slowdown and a possible recession. Natural gas, which is TOU's main focus, has been in the doldrums. TOU just raised its regular dividend and paid a $1 special dividend. The stock is very cheap and has a pristine balance sheet. It is expected to show decent growth in 2024. We can't do much about the sector, but we would still consider TOU one of the best within the sector and worth owning, if one wants any sector exposure at all. (5iResearch)

retiredcf...it you have been holding TOU for a few years then you are a rich man. Congrats. Why not lighten up and put the proceeds into another security. There are some great deals to be found out there.
