Some are not going to be happy with earnings....
The special divvy came up way short. I believe most were looking at a minimum of 1 buck (only 50 cents this quarter). Could be wrong but I suspect TOU might have a tough day tomorrow.

They blew away earnings, raised production, raised the base div and paying out a special with 3 more to come, a good part of their production hedged over $5 and some won't be happy? Tough crowd.

Billybabin61...Its the flipper/short term crowd that will move the stock tomorrow. I suspect there were many that bought in expecting a much higher special divvy. 50 cents isnt going to cut it for them..they will bail. That is only one reason why I believe TOU will be down tomorrow....not to mention the sell the news crowd. Will see how it works out tomorrow. I am a holder of the stock.

yes agree, this was a great quarter given the volatility of the commodity and they have ampped out a pretty profitable path forward. But yes there will be those who may want to exit. I am still a Mike Rose fan and by extension Topaz as well.

Market shouldn't be surprised as with price of natural gas I don't think very many people were expecting to match the previous special distributions. production and reserves up, capex down, and regular dividend raised by .02 cents. I am pleased, and think the stock will trade flat or slightly up tomorrow

I can't complain about any of this. Nat gas has had a brutal year or two. Getting any special dividend is appreciated. Mike Rose....top CEO for a reason.

Not bad considering Natural gas market is dreadful due to 2 warm winters in a row. EQT just cut 30% of their unhedged production until end of March.

Dam! Based on the FCF number with the increased numbers of shares out we are looking at same dividend every quarter.

Obviously would increase if NG prices start going up. These numbers change every quarter depending on the price assumptions used. See the March 2024 Presentation, page 5 for $1.19B and Note 2 for price assumptions. March 2024 Presentation
