BNC's effort for Urocidin partnership

With all the public display of such a nasty fight for control, anyone has any idea how it would affect BNC's ability to strike any meaningful negotiation on any partnership or sale?

If I were an interested party in Urocidin or the AH, I would wait for the dust to settle and be sure I am dealing the party in charge and has the  long term authority before I ink any contract.

If this is true. We are all toast.

rh - I don't think Corporate America cares about the issues at hand.  BNC has stated they have interested parties.  Investment $ will look at the company and if they like what they see will proceed and negotiate the best deal they can.  If they wait for the dust to settle they may miss the investment or have to pay more.

Doc, that is not how business works. Most companies are in a current state of change and turnover.   if Urocidin has the efficacy and safety profile that we have been lead to believe it does, and there are truly 30 interested partners as we have been lead to believe there are, then a deal will get done, despite the "distractions".  Several of those 30 will want to partner ...more

Zep - re-read my post.  I totally agree with you.

Cowdoc , my response was the RH...Dr. Ron, the other Doc   But agree with your post obviously.   It has crossed my mind though that  NR with  the "uncertainty created by the dissident movement, has severely impacted our ability to sign a Urocidn partnership, as such we have been forced us to (insert measure detrimental to shareholders here) " has already been written ...more

Zep - I do not think that NR would chg anything.  The uncertainty at hand is small potatoes for corp lawyers and I don't know why BNC would even bring it up.  The issue at hand is covering the burn until one of about 5 major things happen.

I dont' think the proxy fight would hinder a Urocidin deal, as it doesn't have to be voted on. With the amount of proxy fights theses days and  takeover bids, not to mention large deals have to be voted on in most cases,  it is always a dice roll for any acquirer or licensor. Current management has autonomy over any decision that does not involve dilution over 25% of ...more

Cowdoc...I don't expect the  excuse NR to precede and announcement of a partnership or AH sale.   I am merely suggesting that if something is not struck befofore the June 20th deadline (the date the company has mentioned but never elaborated on) than you may see an NR blaming the repercussions of missing this entirely unclear deadline on our disruptive "dissident" ...more
