Shareholder Buyout

Blarter, Have you got any friends in the pharma industry that would take a position in a shareholder buyout.

I have calculated that 23.5 cents is a 24% premium to management's valuation of a week ago. For the paltry sum of 38 mil we can take over the company and inject some life into the otherwise comatose Bioniche.

The NR itself, detailing the pipeline, would probably double the share price after a phone call or two.

How could they not recommend a premium of this magnitude to shareholders?

I don't know anyone in the pharma industry, willing to take a chance on " BIONICHE " and any of the money people I know wouldn't touch this company because the previous mgnt. screwd everyone so bad. I had  thought  the NEW mgnt. and board were going to be trustworthy ,honest  and fair. So I doubled my holdings, boy was I ever FOOLED. When the NR came out we more ...more

I was not a shareholder last summer, although an interested observer. I had to sell after the Endo trial cancellation. Ater 11 years of anguish. almost bought back in at 39 when the "detente" was announced with wells and Gubbitz. Instead I waited for concrete news and reloaded around 36 cents after the BLA/FDA halt. I honestly felt I was stealing shares at that price,  and in my ...more

I am going to go RagingBull with the natural hat trick but I've got to say that was a solid close! the buyout projection for this 30 million dollar goose just dropped to 23 cents.

and the lord said, Go Forth and Multiply"  And so Bioniche did, and they did it over and over again. Too bad we cant figure out a way to invest in the number of shares out.  In canadian, unregulated markets this would be a gold mine.
