They are all dogs today it's not tve specific your thoughts on Eric and his position in tve are weird. He's thinking long term as most should be if not this would be a silly place to have your money.
Comment by cre8value4me on Apr 27, 2024 10:19am
Yes dogs but not daily! Anyway I watched what in hindsite was most likely to be the Eric dump take place in Athabasca Oil it was a big overhang and the stock traded in the same fashion until he was done and then the pop took place! I am not sure on TVE ofcourse, I don't know Eric's cost base but Athabasca was .18 and he sold out before the peak......  someone is creating continous ...more

Looks like day/swing/algo traders are having a ball. Shaving eighths used to be the thing in the olden days.  Now it seems it is to the fourth decimal. Whatever it is, liquidity is good for the rest of us. Cheers.

I don't actually know but I have a feeling that "anonymous" is some sort of of algo that justs churns pennies using large blocks of stock to allow them to keep it range bound up and down in a tight range of wiithin about 10 cents, classic rinse and repeat all day every day. This is the problem with small and mid caps they are much more easily manipulated, as I said earlier I watched ...more

I think that the April ownership report seems to support my opinion that Eric is behind the recent selling pressure same show different stage! So to reiterate as with ATH the price can't pop until this selling is done. JMHO
Comment by dandu1924 on May 02, 2024 8:02am
EN  sold out all ATH a few weeks ago and ATH is still in downtrend because in fact ATH was overvalued and very speculative ex: buyout and other speculations and now the market is looking for the other stocks with some higher production in barrels. Ex:  TVE with over 66,000  bbl/d and or BTE with over 155,000  bbl/d.
Comment by cre8value4me on May 02, 2024 9:59am
Yes he sold out ATH before the price peaked. My observation (confirmed in hindsight) was on the lenghth of time that the stock was under pressure from such a huge stakeholder sellout he is possibly creating the same pattern here it takes a awful long time to divest such positions. Thats the isue with these Canadian Mid/small caps so heavily owned by so few. Now TVE as an investment has had several ...more

Hardly.  Oh ye of little faith. We get a dividend on Monday and the stock has done OK if you bought it at 3.00 10 weeks ago. EARNINGS in 8 trading days. Expect balance sheet repair and improvements and rerating....

Eric looks after one guy and that's Eric (and fund holders) and that is the way it should be, think he is good for general advice but on a company  level who knows when he is buying and selling , pumping and dumping. It is going to be up to management to drive TVE sharerprice higher , q1 results will be very telling , some numbers simply never add up and that has to change , exited 2023 ...more

That was based on 75 dollar wti I believe. I would say Q2 less than 900m But we will see on May 8th.
Comment by jjjorge35 on Apr 26, 2024 12:38pm
I think the numbers do add up for TVE on this one: -As you say, ended 2023 with 984m in debt -excluding dispositions, TVE averaged $62m in free funds flow per quarter last year -50% of that gets put towards debt, so $31m per quarter -That would put them on pace for dropping below the $900m threshold in Q3 2024 That is probably accelerated a bit by current WCS pricing, but offset somewhat by the ...more

Great analysis  Agreed

My suspicion has proven out going back 1 - 1-1/2 months. It was Ninepoint dumping and giving the downdraft a little extra momentum. To start this price drop. Manipulation at every turn in this dirty business. Glta

I agree. Where would the stock price be without Nine Point. They are one of a very few large investors in Canadian Oil and Gas mid to small cap companies. Unfortunaly no love for oil and gas. I belive share buy backs and debt repayment are the only way to rerate these companies.
Comment by dandu1924 on May 24, 2024 3:48pm
Without Ninepoint should be for the best because  E  has not the same shinny reputation now and others funds  are not interested  to invest in TVE until  Ninepoint is out. The day  Ninepoint will  dumping again and out of TVE, those days should be not so nice for the share price, just look when EN did dump a fews weeks ago, TVE  from $4.35  to $3.52 ...more
