Not easy for a simpleton like me to follow so presumably even less so for the people who really need to understand these complex issue, like governments. That said, good to know that there are indivduals that have a comlete understanding of the energy equation with all its ramifications. Hopefully they will be able to get their voice heard above the drone of political opportunists whose horizens ...more

The issues are extremely complex and not easy to understand for anyone . Nevertheless , some governments have now decided  to bet huge sums of money on ventures which may yield little or no fruit. It is called political expediency and contrary to what some may think ,it is often not fact based and even worse has never been subjected to any form of cost benefit analysis. Just like everything ...more

It gets to be a tired old story because no one listens especially the mainstream media and the politicians that matter. They would rather listen to hyperbole and fera mongering from the likes of John Kerry, Al Gore and Greta Thunberg. Today they are all over how climate change is responsible for all the Canadian fires that have caused a smoke blanket over New York and particularly over NYC. But ...more

This article by NASA from 2020 states why your 2022 article can't be attributed to Milankovitch cycles. https://climate.nasa.gov/explore/ask-nasa-climate/2949/why-milankovitch-orbital-cycles-cant-explain-earths-current-warming/   One of them being that according to the cycles we should currently be cooling not warming.

Yep, a couple of common sense "opinions" on the influences of the Earth's revolutionary cycles around the sun. One for and one against. Just don't fear monger me on the one opinion and totally ignore the other opinion -- not you, but politicians and media. I did notice he comments "scientists are confident....." and "scientists know......" as though that is ...more

Truth is it doesn't matter what Canada does.  We are far too small in the global picture to move the needle either way.  Thinking we can be a "global leader" that anyone of consequence will follow is also nonsense.  We would be better served by putting out our forrest fires with all the carbon they are releasing than worrying about if my bag at the grocery store is ...more

Yeah, we're certainly spending a lot of tax payers dollars to have no meaning on the final result. I am old enough to remember how happy everybody was in saving the forest by the stopping of using paper grocery bags and going to plastic. Now we stop using plastic and go back to paper manufactured in China using the raw logs we send over there. Meanwhile we stop a ton of logging and let the ...more

Everyone knows that the wildfires and global Climate apocalypse are caused by the Canadian Conservatives. Just ask Justin !!

Yup I've said this many times.. if the Feds were serious about global warming and carbon in the atmosphere they would invest in a nation wide fire fighting upgrade and doubling at least..!  There's been more carbon pumped into the atmosphere this year already than every effort, which has been billions of dollars by industry to eliminate it.. its laughable for a country with as much ...more

LOL ; you're blaming NASA ? Earth orbit & rotation is causing global warming ?? If these are hard well known Scientific Facts there are thousands of scientific institutions that would/could/should share this extremely important climate facts with PEER REVIEWED calculations !! Are you the Anti-Vaxer type, who couldn't possibly understand 'scientifically' how the M-RNA ...more

Can you possibly understand that European Governments, whose energy costs have been skyrocketing, are eager to promote Earth Rotation Theory. Even it it's partially true.  They aren't.  Golly, I even heard that EXON's technologist's predicted a similar timeline on "The Rush Limbauch" broadcast.  kc

If you don't understand something you are better off saying nothing than trying to mock it. Milankovitch cycles are real and are responsible for climate change just not what we are seeing in the past 100 years as they operate on much longer cycles.  But it does not change the fact that they do change the climate.  "Milankovitch’s work was supported by other researchers of his ...more

Good link GregC24 -- the only problem is the main stream media would rather push outbursts from the likes of Greta Thunberg, AOC, and Chuck Schumer (the last two on the current forest fire scenes) as opposed to scientific theories. In Covid times Schumer was a Dr. scientist and now in forest fire times he is a climate scientist. And for the media it is whatever is the most dramatic that sells. One ...more
