I am glad they did the purchase of Westbrick with out messing with the capital structure of VET, besides adding debt to the balance sheet.  Like there has to be an upside to GAS in Canada, and what better time to buy Westbrick than when gas prices seasonally adjusted are rock bottom.  Likely Vet will be producing north of 140,000 boe/day and with the added gas plant capacity, they will ...more

VET will spend 40% 2025 FCF in shareholder returns. That is 300-400m? Buying back 10% only cost 200m. I wonder where they are going to put the other 200m.

I'd wager it would be debt reduction.  I found something Interesting today. Under the "insiders" tab on this page it shows VET's daily purchases. They spent about a quarter mil per day buying every day and cancel them on Friday. No purchases in dec so they might be putting the buy back on hold for a bit with the new purchase. Makes sense to me.

No, the executive compensation is detailed elsewhere. It's right on stock house. It's on stock house under the 'insiders' tab. It's kinda neat to be able to what the company is buying back every day and how many shares the company owns and cancels. It's all on this website.
