EIA counting ngl's as oil production

Is that correct? When did they not count it that way? Does that mean that production should not really count them as oil production?  And most importanrly did us production not rise at all last year when compared to 2022?

NGLs are those heavier hydrocarbons that are part of the raw natural gas stream, those components being propane, butane, a portion of the ethane and everything heavier than butane which is grouped together as pentanes plus.
