Share Buybacks

Well, if there was ever a day they should be buying back shares it's today .... and probably tomorrow.

Anyway, if you are an oil bull this looks like an awfully good time to be adding- can it go lower - definitely but if you are patient I think the overall return- dividends + capital appreciation look pretty good at around $7 per share.

Pretty focused management team that seems to have it together.

I entered the Oil and Gas stock market in 2015 with that attitude . CPG dropped like 40% and I said to myself " wow this is a god entry point . Cant go much lower than this . OPEC and shale won't let this oil price be at this low level for long "  LOL . Man , what a nightmare 10 years hanging on to these turds.  I could have gone into just about anything else and made a ...more

I am just listened  from the past, forget all of those experts, analysts, because they are in conflict of interest   ( they  are working for the banksters and they playing both side  day trading, shorts ) and they talking just for their strategy.

I said loooooooong time many many years you don't listen to analyst , it's like Campbell soup chicken noodle , it's look healthy but it's full of chimicals and salt , but again many people can't do their own research ..... if so don't listen to analyst and buy etf or index fund .

Always be weary of people who are always bullish or always bearish. Always think to yourself: "Why is this person pushing this stock on TV for my benefit, for free?" It's not for you they're doing it, it's for them. Many of the times, they pump it while they're dumping it. Even if you do your own research and do your best to understand what is happening, unforeseen ...more

Like Eric Nuttall ?   I can guarantee he's pounding the sell button with both fists today with the sound of a submarine diving siren in the backround .  He claimed in September this was an amazing buy and bought another ton of shares . He talked to the CEO . I guess the CEO tells Eric nothing either . Kind of a waste of time. But you know, active management works folks.  LOL ...more

He's no different than any other fund manager out there doing what's best for his fund, so can't hold that against him. It's always the same case though... Everything sounds convincing, makes sense, but rarely materializes...  if you ever go back in time to listen to his past segments, it's always the carrot and the stick... Always postive/bullish (I know that's his ...more

Likewise... If I could only go back in time to tell myself they're value traps, and to run far far away from the CDN O&G sector altogether... Always bought the "dips" in this sector throughout the years that always ended going lower for whatever reasons... Should have sold everything in Q1/Q2 2022. I really do think O&G investors have a thing for pain...
