History sure is rhyming... On Jan 20th 1981 Reagan took office. On the same day the hostages in Iran had been holding were also released.

Today we learn that the hostages Hamas is holding will be released next Monday, Jan 20th. We are witnessing the rise of the USA reasserting itself as the global leader.

That analogy reminds me of Pink Floyd album Animals, except sheep's, pigs and dogs. The lyrics are written by a Marxist but I love listening to the song Dogs, good music and great guitar solos. Wish it had different lyrics. As far as our investments in oil and gas, I don't see any peace agreement in Ukraine anytime soon, that would result in sanctions removed and Russia starting
