Trading volume over the past 2 weeks doesn't indicate any big seller. According to RBC, the biggest transaction 30 April for 1 million shares actually pushed up the price $.12 which indicates big buying versus selling. I know what Eric Nuttall said, but where's the high volume that shows a big seller who's wanting to drive the price down??

All I can say is Whitecap has been under performing and not living up to expectations. High debt Baytex has out performed. Long for the 10% gain days..

Yes BTE has out performed in the past couple of weeks. If you take a 1 or 3 year long term view, WCP has significantly outperformed BTE. The issue is that WCP has performed so well, it's closer to fair market value than many other O&G peers, as shown in Eric Nuttall's slides. It may take a quarter or two for the shares to start ramping up again if oil prices hold up.

Eric Nuttall seems to have the monopoly on E&P research which is a warning sign.   He doesn't provide information because he is a nice guy, he does it because it benefits his positions.   He has been pushing penny stock after penny stock.   Some of which has already exceeded WCP's EV/DACF ratios.    If you trade actively, you can try to swing a ...more
