The carbon tax pause on heating oil was offered up to every province from coast to coast...... BC being the most recent to sign up. .. The others prefer to play politics instead....Close to 250k rural  votes in Ontario alone...   Carbon tax bad...but when it comes to 10 dollar a day daycare, they all line up at the door with their hand out... No better way to keep the base angry...makes one wonder why there's a coalition. Nothing would ever get passed..Just look south of the border.....

I apologize in advance if you have nothing else available as your source of heat energy but man, it's 2023 .Surely you can get a heat pump that runs on electricity.  I agree with Socks that it's time to get rid of that garbage . Tuna, Your friends in Ottawa are wasting money and time. Rural Ontario, for instance, with minor exceptions never voted Liberal and never will. Give them free heating oil and they will vote PC. Besides, Propane is widely used where natural gas is not available, including the cottage country. In the populous Toronto, most houses, new or old, are equipped with a gas fired furnace and hot water tank.
